Suites Barrio de Salamanca

Excellent location for proximity to the university, nice neighbourhood generally, albeit that one needs to take the metro to the city and main attractions. Nice apartment with wonderful balcony with view over the adjacent museum and park, easy to stay with a kid and enough room. Coffee and tea in the room

We rented two suites which were located next to each other. One of the suites had a kitchen with everything you need. In the second room, the kitchen was closed because it was not needed. In fact, this is an apartment with a kitchen, a small living room and a bedroom. The living room has a sofa bed. The bedrooms in the suites have additional doors, which is very convenient and which is not found everywhere. The bathrooms had toiletries. It was warm in the hotel which is important during the winter time. There is a good supermarket nearby. If you need ski equipment, you can also buy it across the street. On the trip we used a taxi, so we can't say anything about parking. We requested a late check out which was kindly provided for a reasonable price. Special thanks to the staff for their attentiveness and friendliness.

The wonderful very helpful staff provided excellent service. One of us has mobility issues and they provided a special shower chair to facilitate bathing. Other important features include a very well connected location, a great breakfast, a very comfortable clean apartment and a terrace with a great view of the museum next door (including it's lovely gardens).

The staff were great especially Rafa and Marta, they were very friendly and helpful and made sure my stay was great.
